On September 7, 2018, within the framework of the thirty-first Moscow International Book Fair, the awards ceremony of the winners of the 15th international competition of the CIS countries "The Art of the Book" was held.
The competition has been held regularly since 2004 under the auspices of the Interstate Council for Cooperation in the Sphere of Periodical Press, Book Publishing, Book Distribution and Printing and the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. This year, for the diplomas of the competition "The Art of the Book" in ten categories, more than one hundred editions participated in the contest. For the competition from Turkmenistan, the State Publishing Service of the country has submitted four books, published in 2017. And all four were awarded high awards.
In the nomination "Dialogue of Cultures", the book of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road" was awarded the first grade Diploma and the title of the winner of the international competition.
