Issues of trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan were discussed

On November 7-8, 2023, meetings were held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan A. Movlamov and the President of the Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries of Islamabad Sajjad Sarwar, as well as with a delegation led by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Islamabad (ICCI) Ahsan Zafar Bakhtaviri.

During the meetings, the Turkmen side made a presentation on the foreign and domestic policies of Turkmenistan. In this context, speaking about large-scale programs and projects implemented in Turkmenistan in the economic direction, special attention was paid to the “smart” city of Arkadag.

During the negotiations, an exchange of views took place on issues of expanding trade and economic partnership between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
