As part of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi, the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN Office in Geneva installed a special banner in the building of the Palais des Nations in Geneva with a QR code containing a link to extended information about Magtymguly’s life.
As is known, the 55th session of the Human Rights Council began its work in the building where the mentioned banner was installed on February 26 of this year. This event is attended by UN Secretary-General A. Guterres, President of the UN General Assembly D. Francis, as well as more than 125 delegations at the level of vice-presidents, vice-premiers, ministers and other officials from around the world.
It should be noted that the information stand installed by the Permanent Mission aroused genuine interest among representatives of foreign delegations present at the event.
