A mini-football tournament was held in Astrakhan

From September 13 to 14, 2024, the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan) organized a mini-football tournament dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi.

Teams of representatives of the Turkmen diaspora from the Astrakhan region and Stavropol Territory, as well as the Consulate team, whose players were students from Turkmenistan studying at higher educational institutions in Astrakhan, took part in the competition.

At the opening ceremony, it was emphasized that the literary heritage of the classical poet Magtymguly Fragi, his works calling for peace, patriotism, harmony, as well as brotherhood and friendship, serve to strengthen relations between peoples.

At the end of the tournament, the winning teams were awarded cups and medals.
