Implementation of COP26 decisions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions considered by Turkmen specialists during a briefing with the Office of the United States Presidential Envoy for Climate
On April 19, a briefing was organized by the office of the United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate Mr. John Kerry for specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, the State concerns "Turkmengaz" and "Turkmennebit".
US team was lead by the Deputy Special Envoy Mr. Rick Duke.
The main focus of the briefing was reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, in particular, the methane emissions. The parties shared successful practices and discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in this area.
