On February 15, 2023, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan, together with the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, held a scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and classical poet of the East - Makhtumkuli-Fragi on the topic "Makhtumkuli- Fragi is an outstanding poet of world literature.”
The event was attended by representatives of scientific and creative intelligentsia, representatives of the media, as well as fans of Magtymguly-Fragy's work.
Speakers at the meeting highly appreciated the importance of this event, dedicated to the great poet Magtymguly Fragi, who promotes peace and unity, national values, and expressed common aspirations to continue and strengthen scientific cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
