A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan and the Museum für Naturkunde – Leibniz Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity Science (Germany)

On March 15, 2023, through diplomatic channels, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan and the Museum für Naturkunde – Leibniz Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity Science

The memorandum provides for cooperation in the development of joint research projects, especially in the field of biology and geosciences, including the planning and implementation of joint fieldwork, research, and expeditions in Turkmenistan.

The Berlin Natural History Museum was founded in 1810, which houses over 30 million zoological, paleontological, and mineralogical specimens.
