The issues of strengthening academic cooperation and scientific ties were discussed during a meeting on April 27, 2023 in Tokyo, the rector of the Institute of International Relations J.Gurbangeldiev with the Director General of the Japan Institute of International Relations, Professor Tomiko Ichikawa.
At the meetings, the possibilities of jointly conducting online lectures, scientific and academic exchange, establishing a dialogue at the expert level and organizing research publications were considered.
Attention was also paid to the implementation of youth policy. Emphasis was placed on the development of the role of youth in international relations and the measures taken in Turkmenistan to implement the strategy of international youth cooperation. The parties agreed to further cooperate on youth policy issues and establish links for the exchange of experience in this direction.
