The delegation of Turkmenistan participated in consultations under the Tehran Convention

On September 21-22, 2023, ministerial consultations of the Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea (Tehran Convention) were held in Geneva.

The meeting was attended by delegations from the Caspian states - Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, the institutional mechanisms of the Secretariat of the Tehran Convention, priority areas of regional cooperation in the field of environmental protection, as well as issues related to the final document of the consultations were discussed.
