Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation held in Ashgabat

Delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation headed by the State Secretary, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin is in Turkmenistan to hold consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

On December 6, 2016 the head of the Russian delegation was received by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. After the meeting with the Turkmen leader there were held political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, during which the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral relations and international and regional issues of mutual interest.

Consultations were held in accordance with the Program of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.
