Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary

On February 9, 2017, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary S.N.Lebedev, who arrived in Ashgabat at the head of the mission of CIS observers to participate in the evaluation of the forthcoming elections of the President of Turkmenistan.

The main topic of discussions was the preparation for the upcoming on February 12, 2017 elections of the President of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting the sides also discussed the priority directions and prospects of constructive partnership in the framework of the CIS; particular attention was paid to the further development of international cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, in the sphere of security and other areas.
