On February 15, 2017 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan there was a meeting with the head of the company «FIT International» of the United States of America Kirt Edwards, who arrived in Turkmenistan to the presidential elections as an independent observer.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the results of the elections of the President of Turkmenistan held on February 12, 2017. In his turn, Kirt Edwards, as an independent observer, praised Presidential elections conducted in Turkmenistan and noted that the elections were held openly, democratically and equitably. He sincerely congratulated the people of Turkmenistan on reelection of esteemed Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as the President of Turkmenistan and requested to convey to the President of Turkmenistan his heartfelt greetings and best wishes.
