On September 15, 2022, the 23rd Conference of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens was held in the capital under the chairmanship of the President of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The forum was attended by representatives of the Turkmen diasporas from a number of states, ethnic Turkmens from abroad working in our country, as well as delegates from all regions of the country.
The opening ceremony was attended by leaders and representatives of the Milli Gengesh, political parties and public organizations, institutes of the Academy of Sciences, ministries and departments, metropolitan universities that are collective members of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens, individual members of the Association from all velayats of the country, cultural figures, honorary elders, journalists, student youth.
With deep attention and great enthusiasm, its participants listened to the welcome Address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent to them. The welcome address of the head of Turkmenistan was met with thunderous applause from the audience.
On behalf of the audience, the President of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens expressed gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the policy conducive the triumph of humanistic values.
Recalling that in 2024 the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker of the East, the Turkmen classic poet Makhtumkuli Fragi will be celebrated at the international level, the President of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens said that a special organizing commission had been created and an action plan was being developed to organize such an important event.
During the Conference, representatives from the Federal Republic of Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan reported on the activities of the foreign branches of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens.
The participants of the Conference also discussed the tasks for further development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation in accordance with the humanistic principles of the foreign and domestic policy pursued by the head of Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of the forum, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens, the ceremony of awarding the members of the Organization, including representatives of the Turkmen diasporas, with the updated sign “Ynsanperwerligiň sarpasy” was held.
At the end of the Conference an Address of thanks to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was adopted.
