From 1 to 10 November, 2022, a training for young diplomats and other civil servants of Turkmenistan is being held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The training was organized by the Office of the United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan jointly with the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs of the UN Secretariat (DPPA).
The aim of this course is to raise awareness of the activities of the UN system and develop professional skills in the field of international relations.
This course is attended by 20 young representatives of ministries and departments of the country, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International University for the Humanities and Development.
It should be noted that the training is conducted in English by international experts specially arrived in Turkmenistan. In addition, heads and representatives of the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan, the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia and other offices of the UN system in Turkmenistan give lectures at the training courses.
