On November 27, 2017, in the building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, a regular meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian working commission for cooperation in the energy sector was held, for participation in which a delegation of representatives from the Ministry of Energy of Romania arrived in the capital.
During the meeting, a high level of interstate cooperation was marked, based on the principles of mutual trust and mutual benefit.
According to the speakers, one of the key aspects of Turkmenistan's energy strategy is further modernization and technical re-equipment of oil and gas and petrochemical enterprises, implementation of projects for the construction of modern gas processing facilities, including gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, polyethylene, polypropylene and other gas chemical products. In this context, widespread introduction of advanced resource-saving technologies and innovative scientific and technical developments into practice was noted.
The openness of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, the richest natural resources, and the favorable investment climate created in the country - all this provides great opportunities for increasing international cooperation in all spheres, including oil and gas.
Following the meeting, a protocol was signed.
