On July 27, 2023, consultations on consular issues between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan were held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the relevant law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
In accordance with the agenda of the consultations, topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the consular sphere were discussed. Proposals for the exchange of experience between the consular services of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the implementation of joint projects and initiatives in this area were considered.
As a result of the negotiations, a Protocol was signed that regulates the implementation of the agreements reached.
