On September 7, 2023, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan held a literary evening dedicated to the upcoming celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen thinker and classical poet of the East Magtymguly Fragi.
The event began with the presentation of a new poem by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Pähim-paýhas ummany Magtymgyly Pyragy” (Magtymguly Fragi – the treasury of the mind). It was emphasized that this work, dedicated to the rich heritage of the poet, once again demonstrated the poetic talent of Arkadag.
As part of the literary evening, its participants exchanged opinions about the life and work of Magtymguly Fragi, read his poems and poems, which are based on poetic wisdom and a broad worldview. Speakers at the event noted that the work of the great humanist poet Magtymguly Fragi had a significant impact on the development of not only the literature and spiritual life of the Turkmens, but also the peoples of the East.
