On May 4, 2018, at the Korean University of Foreign Languages, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea organized a presentation on "Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road".
The event, whose main goal is the popularization of the spiritual heritage of the Turkmen people, was attended by graduate students and teachers of the CIS chair of this higher educational institution.
The video presentation demonstrated by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Seoul, acquainted Korean scientists with the rich historical and cultural heritage of the country, which keeps traces of the ancient civilizations and evidences of the highest culture of the Turkmen people, which made a significant contribution to the treasury of universal values.
The audience was also provided with detailed information on modern Turkmenistan, the main directions of the domestic policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as major changes implemented in the country in recent years. One of the topics of the meeting was the key vectors of the peace-loving foreign policy strategy, as well as the constructive initiatives of the neutral Turkmen state on topical aspects of global sustainable development.
