On November 15, 2016 the delegations of five Central Asian countries, including Turkmenistan, arrived in Seoul to discuss the issues of cooperation in a multilateral format during the 10th Forum on Cooperation "Republic of Korea - Central Asia". This forum at the level of Foreign Ministers' Deputies held in Seoul on 15 - 16 November 2016.
On November 15, the delegation of Turkmenistan together with the other delegations from Central Asian countries had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Yun Byung-se.
During the forum, representatives of the Republic of Korea and the five Central Asian countries - Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - discussed topical issues of multilateral cooperation, including in the framework of the thematic sessions, as "future cooperation in this format", "Prospects for the use "e-government" and "cooperation in the field of agriculture."
The representative of the delegation of Turkmenistan in his speech at the forum pointed out that "the successful work of the Forum is largely due to a dynamic and progressive development of bilateral relations between the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea."
The main outcome of the 10th Forum on Cooperation "Republic of Korea - Central Asia" was the adoption of the Charter and Action Plan of this format.
