On August 12, 2016 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan there was the meeting with the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic in Turkmenistan Mr. Francois Delahousse.
During the meeting, speaking of trustworthy and mutually beneficial relations between Turkmenistan and the French Republic, the parties marked with satisfaction the active and multi-level political dialogue which takes place on a regular basis.
The sides discussed issues of further development of bilateral relations in political and trade-economic spheres. The sides stressed the importance of joint measures for deepening cultural and humanitarian component of Turkmen-French relations. Among the areas of interest were marked sphere of education and science.
During the meeting, Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic in Turkmenistan Mr. Francois Delahousse presented copies of his credentials.
