On October 10, 2016 at the Palace of the Mukams of the State Cultural Centre there was the grand opening of the Days of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan, in which there were organized concert of masters of Arts and crafts exhibition of Tatar folk.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the forum dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of Independence of our independent neutral state.
A representative delegation headed by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Sibagatullin arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the events of the Days of Tatarstan in Turkmenistan.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov addressed the audience with greeting words. The head of Tatarstan, expressing his gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for support in organizing of this forum at a high organizational level, congratulated our compatriots with the upcoming jubilee - the 25th Anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan.
Then there was a concert of masters of Arts of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan. The Masters of Arts of Tatarstan sang arias, romances, played music from the treasury of the world and Tatar music classics. All performances were accompanied by video films and were imbued with the idea of preserving national traditions.
The program of this recital also included the joint performances of the Tatar and the Turkmen artists. The final number of the concert program was highly and enthusiastically voiced "Song of Friendship". Fulfilled by Turkmen soloists and all participants of the concert who joined them, it was a kind of hymn for friendship of fraternal peoples of the growing creative union.
In the lobby of the Palace of the Mukams of the State Cultural Centre it was also an exhibition of samples of traditional Tatar arts and crafts. The exhibition - an exclusive work of contemporary artisans reconstructed their curiosities of XIX-XX centuries. Among them - the details of national costumes, carpets, fine work of jewelers and craftsmen in wood, calligraphy, leather mosaic, tambour embroidery and musical instruments.
Within the framework of the Days of Tatarstan there will be a business forum, as well as guests will participate in the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of Turkmenistan. With the Tatar side envisaged the participation in the forum of representatives of the ministries and other government agencies, as well as business people working in different areas of the companies. The meeting will discuss a wide range of issues of capacity fruitful contacts arrayed on a long term basis.
