OSCE helps Turkmenistan to develop Roadmap for green hydrogen energy development

On May 11, 2022, the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat convened a roundtable discussion on a pilot project to develop the Roadmap for the development of green hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan. Participants from relevant ministries and government agencies, including members of the interdepartmental working group on the development of the national hydrogen energy sector, discussed the priorities of the pilot project and the further steps for drafting the Roadmap.

International experts facilitated discussions on hydrogen production using renewable energy sources and natural gas, providing legislative support for "green" hydrogen production, intensification of international cooperation in the field of "green" hydrogen energy development and entering foreign markets.
