On November 14-16, 2023, the delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by the Minister of trade and foreign economic relations B.Gochmollaev, took part in the meeting of international participants of the World Exhibition EXPO 2025, held in Osaka, Japan.
As part of the event, the Turkmen delegation held bilateral meetings with the Secretary General of the International Expositions Bureau (BIE) Dimitri Kerkentzes, the Vice- Minister of economy, trade and industry of Japan Ishii Taku, Secretary-General of the Japan Association of the World Exposition "EXPO 2025" Ishige Hiroyuki, as well as representatives of leading Japanese companies.
On November 16, 2023, Turkmenistan was officially provided with a land plot for the construction of the National Pavilion. The EXPO 2025 Organizing Committee presented the relevant document to the Turkmen side in the presence of representatives of local and foreign media.
