On December 23, 2023, the International Festival “East-West: Musical Traditions and Eurasian Folk Art in the Cultural Space of the CIS” was held in Dushanbe, on the margins of which the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan organized an exhibition corner.
At the exhibition, participants got acquainted with the cultural values of the Turkmen people, national carpets and embroideries, as well as the works of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and information materials demonstrating the modern achievements of Turkmenistan during the years of Independence.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, was attended by heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, representatives of the media, scientific intelligentsia and public organizations, as well as creative groups from Tajikistan and foreign countries.
Following the results of the International Festival, the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan was awarded a diploma from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan.
