On January 16, 2024, an event was held in the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Azerbaijan on the occasion of the announcement in our country of 2024 “The fount of wisdom Magtymguly Fragi”, during which the work of the great poet-thinker, the celebration at the international level of the 300th anniversary of his birth, and also issues of preparation for this event in our country were highlighted.
In addition, a presentation of the first book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Youth is the support of the Motherland” was held. It was noted at the meeting that this book is of great importance in educating a patriotic, scientifically educated, broad-minded young generation, and therefore, under the leadership of the head of state, all conditions and opportunities are being created for the youth of our country.
The above events were attended by professors and scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the Nizami Genjevi Institute of Literature of this academy, ethnologists and Turkmen students studying in Azerbaijan.
The event ended with the screening of a documentary film about Magtymguly Fragi, filmed in Azerbaijan by the Turkmenfilm Association named after Oguzkhan, entitled “Hakyň guly - Magtymguly”.
