On January 29, 2024, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.Meredov met with Inom Majidov, rector of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues, such as further promoting bilateral cooperation in the field of education and scientific research, strengthening relations between higher educational institutions of the two countries.
The parties particularly touched upon the presentation of the book by the President of Turkmenistan “Youth is the support of the Motherland” and a number of events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great poet and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi with the participation of Turkmen students studying at this university.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.Meredov donated the book of the President of Turkmenistan “Youth is the support of the Motherland” to the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.
