On January 30, 2024, at the Doha press center “Dar Al-Sharq” with the participation of representatives of the press of the State of Qatar, a presentation of the book “Youth is the support of the Motherland” by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took place.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the State of Qatar M.Seyitmammedov informed the Qatari side about the large-scale transformations taking place in Turkmenistan at the present time. Thus, the Ambassador emphasized that the book of the President of Turkmenistan highlights the achievements of the country’s youth policy, as well as the role and high performance of the younger generation in various spheres of the state’s life, aimed at strengthening and prosperity of Turkmenistan.
M.Seyitmammedov also emphasized that at a meeting of the permanent council of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), its participants unanimously supported the proposal of the Turkmen side to declare 2024 - “The Year of the great poet and thinker of the Turkic world - Magtymguly Fragi” and the ancient Turkmen city of Anau - the cultural capital Turkic world by 2024.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to issues of state information policy.
In this regard, the Turkmen side emphasized the importance of establishing relations with the National News Agency of the State of Qatar, especially with the “Dar Al-Sharq” press center. The main area of cooperation is the exchange of news and information materials on current events and achievements of the two countries.
