On 15-17 February 2024, the international competition festival "Sword of the Emir" being held in Doha, the State of Qatar. This international event is attended by the delegation of Turkmenistan headed by P.Bayramdurdyev, rector of the Aba Annayev International Equestrian Academy.
Within the framework of the event, the Turkmen delegation met with the Secretary General of the Qatar Equestrian Federation Sheikh Ahmad bin Nooh Al-Thani. In course of the meeting it was emphasized that there are great opportunities between the two countries, especially in the field of horse breeding, as well as active relations and exchange of experience in equestrian sports have been established between the parties.
In addition, the delegation of Turkmenistan held a meeting with experts in the field of veterinary at the "Al-Shaqab" Equestrian Centre.
