On February 17, 2024, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France held the presentation of the first book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “Youth is the support of the Motherland.”
The event took place at the Embassy in Paris with the participation of French students studying at leading higher education institutions in France.
As part of the presentation, students received detailed information about the foreign policy priorities of our country, economic potential and investment opportunities, as well as the rich cultural heritage of Turkmenistan. The Ambassador highlighted the history and current state of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and France, emphasizing their dynamic development and mutual interest in further deepening cooperation.
The presentation of the President’s book aroused great interest among students, who expressed admiration for the state’s care for youth and the achievements of the younger generation of Turkmenistan in various fields - from education and science to sports. Particular attention was paid to the important tasks facing young Turkmen citizens in the context of the further development of the country.
During the meeting, the topic of state and international work was also raised to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great classic of Turkmen poetry, philosopher and thinker Magtymguly Fragi in 2024, declared in Turkmenistan as the Year of “Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi”.
