On February 22, 2024, at the National University of the Republic of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, a presentation ceremony of the first book of the President of Turkmenistan “Youth is the support of the Motherland” took place.
The event was attended by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Sh.Meredov, the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek I.Majidov, the Chairman of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan S.Saidov, representatives of the scientific and educational circles of Uzbekistan and Turkmen students studying at universities in Uzbekistan.
The speeches highlighted the importance of the President’s book in educating the younger generation, as well as the achievements of Turkmen youth in various fields, and the wide opportunities created during 2023, which was held under the slogan “Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar.”
At the same time, it was emphasized that the relevant legislative acts adopted in the country create a solid legal basis for state policy regarding youth.
Turkmen students in their speeches stated that the dedication of the head of state’s first book to youth issues is clear evidence of the special attention of the President of Turkmenistan to aspects of youth policy. In this regard, the student youth assured that they will make every effort to represent our country in the international arena, including promoting the cultural values and traditions of the Turkmen people abroad.
