On February 21, 2024, a meeting was held between the delegation led by the hakim of Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan R. Hojagulyev and the governor of the North Khorasan province of the Islamic Republic of Iran M. Hosseinejad.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran is constantly growing.
In the frameworks of the visit a business forum was held with the participation of businessmen from two neighboring provinces.
On February 22 a meeting was held between representatives of the healthcare sector of Ahal and North Khorasan provinces.
Also, according to the program of the visit of the hakim of Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan, the delegation got acquainted with the industrial and construction production and petrochemical complex of Iran's North Khorasan province and discussed mutual ideas on the development of cooperation in these sectors.
