On March 2, 2024, a briefing was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic, dedicated to the results of the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on February 9, and the meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan held on February 22 of this year.
The event was attended by representatives from the Institute of Language, Literature, and National Manuscripts named after Magtymguly of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen diaspora, as well as students from Turkmenistan studying at universities in Bishkek.
Participants of the briefing were informed about the prospective tasks for the socio-economic development of the country in 2024 as part of the implementation of «Program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments in 2024».
Furthermore, during the briefing, it was highlighted that the extensive events planned under this Program are primarily aimed at further improving the standard of living of our people.
In this context, the significance of the session of the Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan was emphasized, during which priority tasks and a work plan for the upcoming year were established, alongside discussions on socio-economic issues aimed at enhancing the welfare of citizens and refining the country's legislative framework.
