On March 1, 2024, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Finland (with residence in London) Yazmurad Seryaev took part in the inauguration of the newly elected President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb. The event, organized in the country's Parliament, featured speeches from previous President Sauli Niinistö, newly elected head of state Alexander Stubb and Speaker of Parliament Jussi Halla-aho.
After the inauguration, in the presidential palace, the previous and new presidents met with the ambassadors accredited to Finland.
As part of this event, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan congratulated Alexander Stubb on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan and conveyed his best wishes, which was received with gratitude.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan also took part in a briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland Elina Valtonen, on aspects of the country’s foreign policy and security policy, organized for the diplomatic corps.
