On March 5, 2024, a briefing was held in the building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of India to familiarize with the objectives and achievements for the development of the state, which were considered on February 9, 2024 at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, as well as a meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty held on February 22, 2024. This event was attended by Turkmen students studying at universities in New Delhi.
During the briefing, Ambassador Sh.Geldynazarov noted that thanks to the efforts of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the economic development of the state is being systematically strengthened, targeted reforms have been outlined to be implemented based on the “Program of Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments for 2024”.
Planned large-scale events to mark the 300th anniversary of the great thinker and poet Magtymguly Fragi in Turkmenistan and abroad were also announced.
