On March 12, 2024, as part of the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly Fragi (TSU) and Yerevan State University (YSU), a representative of TSU gave a lecture on the topic “The Role of Magtymguly in Turkmen Literature”.
During the lecture, students of the faculty of oriental studies of Yerevan State University got acquainted with the biography of the great poet, his work and patriotic poems. The artistic style of the language and the form of Magtymguly’s poetry, as well as his ideological views, aroused particular interest among the listeners.
It should be noted that there are good traditions of cooperation between the leading universities of the two friendly states, within the framework of which conferences, forums and round tables, lectures, master classes with the participation of faculty and students are regularly held, and there is an active exchange of experience in order to further develop the established interaction.
