The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation with the society of Turkmen students studying at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), on March 21, 2024, in the mentioned educational institution, held a round table dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the classic of Turkmen literature and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi.
The round table was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation E.Aydogdyev, MGIMO Vice-Rector for Youth Policy, Social Work and International Relations S.Surovtsev, scientists, teachers and students of the educational institution.
During the event, participants especially paid attention to the artistic, humanistic and moral value of the creative heritage of the classical poet, as well as his special role in educating the country’s younger generation.
At the end of the round table, a meeting took place between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation E.Aydogdyev and the rector of MGIMO A.Torkunov.
Then the friendly meeting continued with a visit to an exhibition of decorative and applied arts, paintings and books telling about the history and current achievements of Turkmenistan, as well as a photo session “The Country that Magtymguly Fragi Dreamed of,” organized and deployed in the Atrium of MGIMO.
