On April 15, 2024, in the administration of the Astrakhan region, a meeting was held between the Consul of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan) G.Ilamanov and the Governor of the Astrakhan region I.Babushkin.
The Consul presented the Governor with a copy of the Consular Exequatur. The governor wished the consul success in his new diplomatic position for the benefit of the development of Turkmen-Russian relations.
During the conversation, Igor Babushkin emphasized that Turkmenistan is one of the main foreign partners of the Astrakhan region, with which not only close trade, economic and humanitarian ties have been established, but also strong friendly relations.
During the meeting, the parties noted the high level of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Astrakhan region within the framework of the strategic partnership of Turkmenistan with the Russian Federation.
