On April 19, 2024, in the Sokhumi State University, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia organized a presentation of the books of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Youth - the support of the Motherland” and “Anau - culture from the depths of millennia”.
The event was attended by a delegation of Turkmenistan led by the President of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan A.Ashirov, teaching staff and students, as well as media representatives.
The speakers emphasized the special symbolism of the publication of the book of the President of Turkmenistan “Anau - culture from the depths of millennia” in the context of declaring the city of Anau the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024. The decision adopted at the meeting of the Permanent Council of TURKSOY testifies to the high international authority of Turkmenistan and recognition of the significant contribution of the Turkmen people to the development of universal civilization.
During the presentation, the role of the new work of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the study and wide popularization of the glorious history and rich national and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people was emphasized.
Presenting to the audience another book by the President of Turkmenistan, “Youth is the support of the Motherland,” members of the Turkmen delegation noted that this book talks about state care for youth, the achievements of representatives of the younger generation in education, science, sports and other spheres of public life, as well as the designated tasks facing youth on the path to further development of the country.
In addition, at the meeting, special attention was paid to the ongoing activities at the state and international levels to hold the 300th anniversary of the classic of Turkmen poetry, philosopher and great thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi in 2024, declared in Turkmenistan as the Year of “Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi”.
