On May 18, 2024, as part of the international event “Night of Museums” held at the National Museum of Tajikistan, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan organized a special exhibition dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi.
The event was attended by the heads of the Ministry of culture of Tajikistan and the Executive body of state power of the city of Dushanbe, ambassadors of foreign countries accredited in Tajikistan, turkmen students studying in Tajikistan, as well as residents of the city of Dushanbe.
During the exhibition, a presentation ceremony of the books of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Anau - culture from the depths of millennia” and “Youth - the support of the Motherland” took place. In addition, works by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, collections of poems by Magtymguly Fragi in different languages of the world, and works of decorative and applied art of the Turkmen people were presented at the event.
Turkmen folk songs were performed as part of the exhibition.
