A meeting was held with the General Director of the International Weightlifting Federation

On 27 June 2024 in Lausanne, the head of Turkmen National Weightlifting Federation Berdiniyaz Myatiev met with the General Director of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) A.Tsogas.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of holding international and regional weightlifting competitions in Turkmenistan, organizing training seminars with the participation of international experts, training athletes and also agreed to expand cooperation in this area.

Also, the General Director of the International Weightlifting Federation A.Tsogas officially presented a certificate for the participation of the Turkmen referee in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
