On October 7, 2024, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Hellenic Republic T.Komekov presented copies of his credentials to the Head of the Protocol Department of the MFA of Greece Aglaia Balta.
Ambassador T.Komekov also met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Alexandra Papadopolou. During the meeting, current issues of bilateral cooperation in priority areas of political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian nature were discussed. Particular attention was also paid to issues of implementing bilateral visits.
On October 9, 2024, T. Komekov met with the Vice Minister of Education of the Hellenic Republic I. Litrivi and her colleague K.Kotsaridou. During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of education, and the possibilities of exchanging experience between universities of the two countries and the training of Turkmen students in Greek higher education institutions were considered.
On the same day, a meeting was held with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic for economic issues K. Fragkogiannis. Focusing on issues of trade and economic partnership, the interlocutors emphasized that there are broad opportunities for developing bilateral cooperation in this area.
On October 10, 2024, Ambassador T.Komekov met with the Minister of Agriculture of the Hellenic Republic K.Tsiaras. During the negotiations, issues of bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector were discussed.
