From October 16 to 20, 2024, B.Atamanov, the rector of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev visited the People's Republic of China.
During the meetings, the issues of opening the Lu Ban's workshop in Turkmenistan, the Turkmen-Chinese energy-training center within the structure of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev and expanding cooperation in the field of education were discussed.
On October 18, 2024, the signing ceremony of the «Memorandum of Understanding between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, the Xian Petrolem University, Hebei Petrolem University of Technology, China National Petrolem Corporation and China Education Association for International Exchange» on the opening of the Lu Ban Workshop was held.
During the visit, the delegation of Turkmenistan met with students studying at Xi'an University.
