On January 22, 2025, a meeting with representatives of the state-owned company Gujranwala Business Centre headed by Chairman Ahmad Ikram Lone was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the Turkmen side informed about the strategy of economic development of Turkmenistan aimed at modernization, diversification and digitalization of the economy, effective combination of market elements and state regulation, widespread introduction of the latest technologies and innovations, active integration of the country into the system of world economic relations, and consistent improvement of the quality of life of the population.
Pakistani businesspersons expressed great interest in intensifying contacts with Turkmen entrepreneurs.
The parties agreed to hold regular meetings in order to further develop and strengthen cooperation.
