On February 6, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan hosted a presentation of the new book by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov «Hakyda göwheri», as well as an event dedicated to the announcement of 2025 as the «International Year of Peace and Trust» and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
The event was attended by representatives of the creative and scientific intelligentsia, the Turkmen diaspora, as well as Turkmen students studying in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the presentation of the book, the speakers emphasized that the book deeply reflects the glorious history, rich cultural heritage, exemplary creative principles of the Turkmen people, enriching them with new meaning and content, making these works the most valuable treasure in educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, high morality and humanism, an invaluable asset for the entire Turkmen people.
Particular attention was paid to the declaration of 2025 as the «International Year of Peace and Trust», as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. It was noted that this is a clear indication of the recognition by the international community of Turkmenistan’s efforts aimed at ensuring universal peace, security and sustainable development.
During the event, Ambassador A.Gochmyradov also informed about the tasks set out in the Concept of the Activities and Priorities of Turkmenistan within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust.
