On February 13, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia organized an event dedicated to the announcement of 2025 as the «International Year of Peace and Trust».
It was attended by diplomats, representatives of the Turkmen diaspora living in the Kingdom, as well as representatives of the mass media.
During the presentation, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Saudi Arabia informed about the events planned for this year dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
Presentation of books by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, was also held.
The importance of the philosophy in international relations «Dialogue is a guarantee of peace», put forward by the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, was emphasized.
The participants got acquainted with Turkmenistan’s new initiatives in the international arena, planned for implementation during the International Year of Peace and Trust.
