On February 25, 2025, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Batyr Rejepov met with the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister M.Nurtleu congratulated Turkmenistan on the beginning of the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as on the 30th anniversary of the country’s Neutrality and highly appreciated the role of Turkmenistan’s policy of positive neutrality in the interests of global peace and sustainable development.
Also during the meeting, current issues of Turkmen-Kazakh cooperation in the political, trade-economic, transit-transport and energy spheres were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest and high levels.
The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan emphasized Kazakhstan’s interest in further expanding and deepening the strategic partnership with Turkmenistan.
The interlocutors also reviewed the schedule of events planned for 2025 in bilateral and multilateral formats.
At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu was given an official invitation on behalf of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev to the International Forum in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
