Meeting held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan to discuss cooperation in horse breeding and promotion of Akhal-Teke horses

On April 5, 2026, a meeting was held by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan with the participation of General Director of the Japanese economic society “Akhal-teke Affinity Co. LTD” and member of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association M.Aoe, as well as founder of the New Zealand company “Krukziener Properties” A.Krukziener.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of organizing joint events aimed at promoting the glory of Akhal-Teke horses worldwide in the year “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Heavenly Horses”, as well as the directions of future cooperation.

During the meeting, information was presented about the activities of the New Zealand company “Krukziener Properties” in the field of horse breeding, in particular in breeding purebred Akhal-Teke horses. In addition, the possibility of organizing visits of the Turkmen delegations to the company’s horse complex within the framework of potential future visits was considered.

The sidees also exchanged views on organizing specialized events, meetings and round tables dedicated to the development of the horse breeding sector within the year “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Heavenly Horses”.

At the conclusion of the meeting, representatives of the Japanese and New Zealand sides were invited to take part in the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, traditionally celebrated on the last Sunday of April.
