Meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan with the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan

On 26 August 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan A.B. Gochmyradov and the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Kh. Usmonzoda.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmenistan – Tajikistan cooperation in the scientific and analytical field, as well as matters related to further strengthening expert-level collaboration.

Particular attention was paid to the preparation of a joint scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan and the development of Turkmen – Tajik strategic cooperation.

It was noted that during the current year the Center for Strategic Studies organized two expert meetings in the “Central Asia+” format, which were attended by delegations of Turkmenistan.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides expressed their interest in further developing expert contacts, expanding scientific and analytical cooperation, as well as strengthening mutually beneficial collaboration.
