Turkmenistan Participates in the UN High-Level Event on Demographic Resilience

On 24 September 2026, Turkmenistan participated in a high-level side event dedicated to demographic resilience.

Turkmenistan emphasized the strong interconnection between reliable demographic data, skills development, productive employment, and expanding opportunities for young people.

The Turkmen side also highlighted the importance of youth participation and reaffirmed its partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in advancing human development, gender equality, and the well-being of the younger generation.
