Turkmenistan and WHO held 41 events in the first quarter of 2022 within the Annual action plan
In January-March of this year, Turkmenistan and the World Health Organization held 41 events within the Annual Plan in priority areas of cooperation with the WHO Country Office.
This Plan was signed on January 3, 2022, defining the development of health diplomacy and the digitalization of healthcare as priority areas for cooperation.
The main health diplomacy focus is to promote the initiative and establish a regional center on epidemiology, virology and bacteriology for Central Asia and Euro WHO geographically dispersed office on “One Health”.
Integration of WHO best practices and innovative technologies into the health care system of Turkmenistan is an important component of the digital development of the country's health care system.
